Racines d'Avenir is a vocational training institute. We prepare young people and adults for skilled trades through hands-on programmes lasting three to eighteen months, from BEPC to post-baccalaureate level, and we support them all the way to a job or a business of their own.

Train, support, place.
We pass on practical know-how, in the workshop and in real-life situations, so that every learner becomes a competent and independent professional. Our programmes are built around employers' needs, so the skills acquired are immediately useful in the field.

Make a trade a choice for the future.
We want vocational training to be recognised and ambitious, valued by families and employers alike. The institute plans to gradually broaden its programmes and qualification levels, and to welcome learners from all over Africa in the future.
OUR SUPPORT
No one moves forward alone.
Every learner is supported from orientation to employment: an orientation test on entry, a dedicated trainer throughout the programme, an internship supervised by a mentor, CV and interview preparation, then follow-up after graduation.

Two routes to success.
After graduating, learners can join a company from our partner network or start their own business: a tailoring workshop, a hair salon, a tiling or repair business. The institute and its Foundation help them take the step.
